- We design our interface using a proprietary visual interface editor.
- The German version is created by translating the program with this
- editor, which affords the translator the opportunity to modify the
- requester layouts for the localized strings.
-
- Another good reason not to use catalogs is to help overseas publishers
- protect their markets. It might sound silly, but gray imports are a
- big problem for local publishers, and we've had publishers beg us
- not to release a version with catalogs. This is one reason why
- non-commercial software authors are more excited about locale than
- commercial software houses.
